We have focus groups working on my opinion right now. When they tell me what to say I’ll be sure. Until the next focus group.

$35 trillion? And no reporter asked him where he pulled that figure from?

Rand Paul makes absolutely no sense here. Republicans make everything worse. If they’d agreed to increase funding to the VA to accommodate the influx of newcomers because of the two republican wars, we wouldn’t have these problems. This idea of cut, cut, cut is why we run into these problems. Every agency, including Congress, has bad apples, but the the good should outweigh the bad and in most cases, it does. But every time something begins to run down, instead of repairing and/or replacing, the republicans cut or privatize which then gives greed cover and a breeding ground for cheaters, not from those receiving the services, but from those who are offering it. Then the problem grows by leaps and bounds and the people who deserve the help suffer even more. All of our fiscal problems in this country come from the cut mentality of heartless republicans.

Rand Paul has not given any evidence to indicate he is very smart. This is just one more example.

He doesn’t have to be aware, as long as his rube supporters are equally unaware.

Hey, at least he didn’t claim it was unconstitutional or bark out Benghazi in Pavlovian fashion.

Baby steps I guess.

Two years ago? It was 100% unconstitutional and a violation of core principles he holds.

Now that it is working and his caucus’s leader is floundering on the issue and getting beat senseless in the news over his nonsensical take on it?

“I don’t know if it should be dismantled” homina, homina, homina

Ha! So true! I don’t like father or son but have to say that Ron was by far the most entertaining in the early Rep. Pres. Primary debate-0-polooza last time.

What a bunch of gobbledygook… so the previously uninsured and those on Medicaid where showing up in the ER and couldn’t pay, but now because they are covered and have a deductible, they are not going to pay their deductible and that will cause hospitals and clinics to fire people?

The man is a clueless buffoon who just vomited a bunch of word salad into that guy’s recorder.

“why Medicare is $35 trillion short”?

Glad you asked. When Clinton was President Medicare was solvent until 2070 and we were worried about SS. Bush came along and created the prescription drug program and increased Medicare Advantage payment some $70 billion per year and didn’t pay for anything. Do you need visual aids?

A few well written letters and opinions to the Kentucky papers, explaining how the ACA (not Obamacare) is what makes their Kynect work so well and both of your Senators would rather be big men in the Senate than see the citizens of Kentucky have health care.
I wish the Democratic candidate would face the issue head on with some clear explanations rather than dance around the maypole with McConnell. It makes her look weak and already an insider politician.

They can’t even give a non-answer with deliberately mischaracterizing what the PPACA is and does.

Rand Paul obviously doesn’t know how any of the healthcare insurance plans he mentioned work. He had People who handled that for him when he was doing eye surgery?

Ask him about a KY private insurance exchange and Paul brings up the VA and Medicare which are government programs. Somehow this is all related to his own practice which he quit when he entered politics. He can make a lot more money taking bribes in Washington?

She’s has been challenging McConnell on the ACA exchange in KY and he’s the one looking weak and inept.
