"Conservatives will be listened to or there won’t be a repeal," Paul said in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper. “We’re not just going along with whatever they try to shove down our throats. We’re going to be a big part of this.”

“So the GOP majority had six years to come up with an ACA replacement and yet…”

Oh, and…

So I don’t think we can dress up Democrat ideas and put a Republican stamp on them

You know, Rand, your So-Called President would be perfectly fine with that idea or whatever as long as the stamp on it is “Trump.”

WTF. I thought conservatives have a simple goal: Repeal. What other requirement is there? Is there a liberal wing among conservatives which believes in socialism?

Suits me.

They never intended to repeal or replace Obamacare. It was to be a perpetual campaign issue for the Republicans. Once it’s repealed or replaced it ceases to be a campaign issue.

“Refundable tax credits, this means you get back money you didn’t pay. Somebody else’s money,” Paul said. “So I don’t think we can dress up Democrat ideas and put a Republican stamp on them, call them a tax credit and say that we’re giving them something different than what Obamacare was doing.” (Sen. Rand Paul)

Don’t try and strawman this off on the Democrats, dumb ass. This is 100% G-O-P and Shit Gibbon.

“We are bankrupt as a country because we’re overextended already on the entitlement programs that we have without adding new ones.”

“We are bankrupt as a country because money in politics has turned us into a plutocratic kleptocracy in which our elected representatives protect only the interests, rights and fortunes of a tiny group of elitist oligarchs.”

We’re not just going along with whatever they try to shove down our throats.

Who is this “They”? “They” are you, just look in your freaking mirror.

Worse (for them) once repealed or replaced it becomes a campaign issue against them.

Good point - yes, the former Gov of Kentucky, with their very popular Kynect program that will now be dismantled, is a good choice for the response.

@inversion - Rand’s Rant™ is reminiscent of Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction

Rand, will we be hearing your rhetoric how we are Bankrupt when the next round of budget busting tax cuts for the really rich?

This is one of the first times I am really thankful for the obstructionist/do-nothing GOP in Congress. Mitch Trained them so well - that now they are obstructing themselves.

“We are bankrupt as a country because we’re overextended already on the entitlement programs that we have without adding new ones.”

just when you think your opinion of how stupid the people are who vote for these hacks you get a better example.

never mind the real reason is trillions for tax cuts to the richest and corporate welfare plus a war budget that should be slashed at least by 50%. etc.

yet…you cant get a single one of them to understand any of it.

He always gave the illusion that he wasn’t a party hack, but even that’s gone now.

A real Kentucky turd straight from the horse’s ass.

“What we should be for is lowering insurance premiums, lowering the rates and letting working class people get good insurance at a less expensive cost,”

If he’s calling for price controls as part of the “replace” phase (please, “Liberal Media”, ask him!) then I’m sure we can all get behind that.

Reminds me of Willy Loman in Arthur Miller’s Death Of A Salesman. “Attention must be paid!”

Somewhat agree

My disagreement with you is that the majority of em never expected Trump to get over.

And of course he slips in the pejorative (and grammatically incorrect) “Democrat”; the adjectival form of the word is “DemocratIC,” you mop-headed, ignorant stoner. Go back to (mal)practicing ophthalmology, please.
