Paul is ashamed over his flip, please leave him alone…

Trump probably showed him a sample of what WikiLeaks stole from the RNC servers… very persuasive, Comrade!

Hey, Squirrel-mop? The only thing that was “influential in your decision” was your pinheaded need for attention.

"I think also Pompeo going to North Korea at the behest of the President, some have said this says more about the President than Pompeo, but at the same time, it’s an openness to communication,” he told MSNBC. “We talk about the whole idea of, you know, ‘Speak softly and carry a big stick.’ I think Trump’s is sorta ‘Speak loudly, carry a big stick, but also maybe have an olive branch somewhere out there.’ You’re willing to still have diplomacy.”

Umm, Rando, that makes no sense at all. None. Nada. Niente.

But what else would we expect? I mean, not like he would say, “Hey, I caved. Get over it.”

Paul tweeted Monday that he had “received assurances” from Trump and Pompeo

Cheap sell out or criminally naive. We report, you decide.

All right now, stop it, let’s just stop listening to this Paul Rand or whatever his name is because this is getting entirely too silly.

How is it still newsworthy when Rand Paul makes a big fuss about how he’s going to take a principled stand and then immediately fails to do so?

I swear, because this guy puts an ÂŽ next to his name, every time he says he might not vote with the rest of the Republicans, the media turns into Charlie Brown with the football.

More like “Bellow incoherently, carry a big cell phone.”

Goddam, Paul is an ignoramus. The “speak softly” is a crucial part of the aphorism ferchrissake. Diplomacy backed up by the ability to use force. Paul doesn’t understand the metaphor any better that Trump does. “Speak loudly” Does. Not. Work.!!

We are governed by Morons!

“The beast at the White House.” Rand, when the walls fell.”

Rand Paul: The Exquisite Taste Of President Trump’s Delectable Testicles Was Influential In My Decision To Flip

Odds are Paul was just waiting for the right offer to once again flip. He did this with the ACA and a number of other times I can’t recall off the top of my head.

He’s a puffed up straw man.

The person most surprised by Rand Paul’s decision to flip on this - is Rand Paul.

Rand Paul is a lightweight who resorts to pathetic stunts like this to accumulate his 15 minutes of fame in small doses of media attention. I think Corker and Flake who are not running for reelection but still vote party line for every unqualified candidate and outrageous piece of legislation are far more disgusting.

If Pompeo had shared that he wipes his ass with Pravda every morning, Paul would have used it as a pretext to flip. He’d have then justified the bait and switch by saying something about the nominees economy, international outlook and demonstrated toughness.

Maybe Trump threatened to put the beatdown on Rand in his back yard. Would hate to think of that poor libertarian snowflake Randy having to go through that trauma again. Personally, I would just beat him over the head with a copy of “Atlas Shrugged”, or worse yet, force him to actually read that piece of tripe.

A question: Is it actually confirmed by 3rd party sources that Pompeo went to NK and met with Kim? I’m uncertain about whether it actually happened or whether it was a lie spun with the intent of softening up opposition to Pompeo,

That would be great to have rapproachment with North Korea, because they have armed nuclear weapons. See, it’s a good thing to have solid consistent diplomatic relations when someone can vaporize millions of people with the push of the button.

Unfortunately for Iran, we still need to alienate them so they can develop a nuclear bomb to threaten us with. The current treaty doesn’t even get us to that point, so what’s the use? You need to have these lines in diplomacy, otherwise before long you’re negotiating with Somali warlords claiming they can develop nuclear bombs.

Rand Paul: Pompeo Trip To North Korea Was Influential In My Decision To Flip

“But not nearly as influential as Mitch McConnell’s bribes – er, I mean, giveaways – er, I mean promises for my enrichment – er, I mean for my state’s benefit,” Paul continued.

The fact that Pompeo went at all would, I think, give people more pause than comfort. The guy is still acting head of the CIA, isn’t he? He has no position at State. What in the everloving f$ck is he doing going to DPRK to meet with Kim?
