Isn’t Paul remotely aware that if the people he’s referring to were merely “Japanese” Roosevelt could arrested because they would be considered “enemy aliens”? They would not be citizens.
The tragedy is that that Roosevelt had Americans citizens of Japanese ancestry arrested. They were citizens deprived of due process.
There is a difference.
