If anyone had told me ten years ago that Katie Couric and Savannah Guthrie were going to be the pit bulls that brought down āmajorā (because you see them everywhere and all the press clamor to publish everything they say and do) candidates for President, I would have laughed. Not anymore.
Perhaps Rand Paul thinks heās cute enough to get away with Sarah Palinās ploy during her only debate, when she told the moderator she wouldnāt be answering the questions she is asked but just saying whatever she wants. She wasnāt. And neither is he. Isnāt anybody close to him embarrassed for him?

Does it mean act like an editor? Cutting copy, adjusting deadlines sending reporters on assignments and such. If that is the case, neither of the individuals with whom Rand Paul was angry acted like Perry White.
Paul said if heās been interviewed by someone whoās editorializing "you feel somewhat at a loss on the other end.
And this guy that āfeel[s] somewhat at a lossā when dealing with an interview where his dick isnāt getting sucked wants the American people to trust him with the power to press the button?

Does it bother anyone else that TPM has an advertisement on its site for TransCanada formatted like an article? Granted, it does say āSponsor Messageā in a box above it, but it still seems inappropriate, as it resembles actual TPM content. And this is the first time I have seen an ad formatted like that.

I think Rand is using āeditorializeā more in the sense of an āEditorial,ā which is basically a piece in the Opinion section of a newspaper that expressās the views or opinions of the newspapers Editorial staff. So basically he is accusing the reporters he jumped at of injecting their own opinions into the questions they asked.
