What absolute horseshit.
The Fed is a government agency. It is not in any way privately owned.
No one owns it—except the American people through their elected government.
The 12 regional reserve banks have commercial banks as members—they “buy” stock for the privilege of membership, but that stock cannot be sold, bartered, or used as collateral. If the commercial bank leaves membership, the stock is returned to the Fed.
The government does not pay interest to the Fed—in fact, the Fed returns billions of dollars in excess earnings to the US Treasury every year.
And every bank that borrows from the Fed pay interest to the Fed for the privilege.
You are shockingly ignorant about the Fed.
And there’s no reason for it, because the actual facts are all readily available for you to read and absorb—if facts can get through the wall of ignorance you’ve erected around yourself.
