Never liked him. I’ve always thought of him as an inflated ego crony politician, and, at best, a self-serving one.

No reason to apologize. I was venting.

I was born and raised in Chicago, and I hate that Rahm did nothing to improve the lives of people who needed it most. I am so glad that Rahm is exiting, and maybe, just maybe, the city will get some real leadership.

I hear you. I’ve visited Chicago a number of times, but it’s not home turf to me, so I don’t have a strong emotional attachment to the place. Rahm, however, is someone I loathe, viscerally. Let’s hope this signals the end of him politically.
