As a Christian progressive, I see no issue with people of faith running for office. I do, however, see issue with people of faith using their power to promote their personal agenda. We need to find things to work with people about, not fight about. I do not support abortion in any way, shape, or form. But I will not curtail someone’s right to choose to use it, if they so wish. It is NOT my place to make that decision for someone. I really wish more pro-life people would come to realize that. If you’re really pro-life, do more to help unwanted babies get somewhere in life Do more to help those mothers of potential abortions get help so they dont feel that abortion needs to even be an option Preaching "abstinence is the only way!!!’ does not work in this day and age, period.

That was a great speech. As an atheist who wants to see religion cut out of our society, he thoroughly encouraged me to run for office.
Nothing has caused more damage to America than Christianity.
Edit: Where does that 60 million number come from exactly? Do these people really think there would be 60 million more Americans today if it weren’t for abortion? And that that would be a good thing?
