Discussion for article #235461
Well, this poll is obviously biased. 900 of the Jersey voters polled had to drive over a bridge to get to work.
strong leader? why do people confuse bloated with strength?
Turn out the lights, the party’s over. . .
Shh… Don’t tell. I like a full clown car.
StatementFix:
Only 41 of those surveyed said Christie was trustworthy and honest
while 52 percentdisagreedcalled him a lying-sack-of-sh^t.

Notes from Gov. Christie’s campaign strategists leaked today: “You’ve got the ‘enforcer’ vote locked up, Sir. Problem is, they can’t vote while they’re on probation or parole.”
He’s already DOA as far as the nutwing of the gop is concerned (which is now 70%) and wont even get past Iowa.
That’s strange. He’s represented New Jersey with such class and dignity.

Elections have consequences. Even state elections in a non-presidential year. Even if you don’t like the Dem candidate’s commercials or campaign style or whatever.
Sure, the likes of Walker and Christie can point out that they won in blue or purple states. What they won’t say is that the voters in both states currently appear to regret their decisions.
This article reminds me of the commercials with captain obvious. He was toast before the 2016 cycle even began.
This so very true. Four years ago, KY Democrats swept statewide races except for one seat, Commissioner of Agriculture. The Democratic candidate was flawed, so people voted all Democratic except for that seat. I wanted all Republicans to fall, so I voted a straight ticket and warned other Democrats to do the same. Well, the Democrat lost and guess who is the frontrunner beating all Democrats for Governor this year? Yep, the Cuccinnelli-backed,Republican Commissioner of Agriculture that fair-minded Democrats voted for. SMDH
Christie was already toast but it does the heart good to see these numbers. Keep piling on, New Jersey.
You’re toast, fat boy…
That Christie, he’s got a bridge to sell ya!
Is it wrong that I’m smiling?
If he were running for president, he would’ve lost weight a long time ago. Even as the country’s waistline gets larger, the prejudice against an overweight presidential candidate isn’t going away any time soon. Mark my words, the US will have a black president, a Latino president, a woman president, and a gay president before we’ll have a president who’s 100+ pounds overweight. Just not gonna happen.
I think people see “strong leader” and think of strong-arm tactics. In that context, Christie gets high marks.
rating? what ever it is - is should be lower!
lowest of any governor this year<<
Any? Any of nine out of fifty is not the same as any. You have written a lede that misrepresents the story in an egregious way. Sloppy, sloppy work.
The really depressing fact is that according to the survey 38% of New Jersey voters approve of this jerk.
