Discussion: Quinnipiac Poll: Majority Of Voters Oppose GOP Health Care Bill

As if the GOP gives a crap about what the voters think.

I think the House GOP is already “tired of all the winning” that Trump predicted would happen if he got elected. Because they are going to lose bigly on account of this issue alone. Dems will wrap this thing around their necks and hang them by it in 2018.

Trump: No big deal. Majority didnt vote for me either. Electoral College loves TrumpCare.

At 3-1 against he’d be lucky to get a single EV.

trumpee can’t wait to get this behind him so he can begin talking about the attack in London and the implications to American security because of the name of the man who is thought to have done it: Khalid Masood.

After they screw us, whatever their final form, the blessing in all of it may be that they will take a beating in 2018 and beyond.

Even when you only focus on whites without college degrees, the numbers are just awful. My favorite part, though, is that a majority of Republicans oppose cuts to Medicaid; I guess not everybody dreamed of gutting the social safety net at keggers?

Majority Of Voters Oppose GOP Health Care Bill
These “Voters” you talk about. Gee if they only had a good lobbyist , maybe they could be heard and get something done…

I don’t think ‘they’ planned on suffering another ‘vote’…

The poll found that 56 percent of respondents opposed the American Health Care Act, compared to only 17 percent who supported the bill.

So?

The comment came in Amman, Jordan, during an interview with ABC’s Martha Raddatz, who prefaced a question to Cheney by saying, “Two-thirds of Americans say it’s not worth fighting.”

“So?” Cheney interjected.

“So?” Raddatz replied. “You don’t care what the American people think?”

“No,” Cheney said. “I think you cannot be blown off course by the fluctuations in the public opinion polls.”

If Republicans cared about what the American people want, they’d be Democrats.

The only votes the GOP cares about are the “votes” from billionaires who keep their campaigns afloat with cash.

So?
A “Majority of Voters” ACTUALLY VOTED to make Hillary Clinton President too.
Look how that turned out.
Polls mean nothing when there are NO CONSEQUENCES for the way Congress Votes on policy.
Nothing will change unless we DESTROY the Republicans in the House and Senate in the 2018 Mid-Terms and by then it will be too late to do anything about it.
We had our chance on Nov. 8th, 2016 and only 54% of the eligible voters even bothered to show up and vote.
You get what you vote for and we have what we have now.
Thanks Bernie Bros and Jill Steiners. I hope you enjoy dying in the streets for lack of Health Care during the wars with Iran and North Korea while Russian invades and conquers the Baltic States, Poland, The Cezch Republic, and all the rest of the former Warsaw-Pact nations while we devolve into a Religious Civil War that will allow Martial Law to solidify Trumps Dynastic hold on the US Presidency with Eric Trump taking over in 2020 and Ivanka in 2028, to the cheering crowds of Brown Shirts and the Religious Police who roam the streets at night killing any Muslim, Hispanic, or Democrat they find.
V for Vendetta is looking more and more like Prophecy to me every day.
