Discussion: Qatar Ambassador: It Was 'Unfortunate' To See Trump's Tweets Cutting Ties

His comments were made as the eviction notice was posted on the gate of the largest U.S. Military Base in the Mideast.

Well played, Tweeto in Chief. Well playedā€¦

The Qatari displayed a probity once observed in the White Houseā€¦
How is this Russian hack in such a critical area not an intel failure?
When are we going to respond to these constant, damaging attacks?

Youā€™re going to have to speak a little louder there, ambassador. Donnie doesnā€™t do ā€˜understatedā€™.

Yeah, Iā€™d love to know what the military thought.

We would consider it fortunate if Trump would cut ties with us.
You are so lucky.

I should not be surprised if, a month from now, we find out that the tweets were misunderstood and nothing bad really happened between nations.

The President of the United States got played by Saudis who were played by the Russiansā€¦now heā€™s playing some poor Midwesterners at the Greater Cincinnati Airport.

ā€œSo good to see the Saudi Arabia visit with the King and 50 countries already paying off.ā€

Frantic White House Counsel: ā€œSir, youā€™ve got to stop tweeting about those Saudi pay offs!ā€

Trump just thanks the Saudi King on the banks of the Ohio River (cable says heā€™s in Cincinnati but heā€™s actually in Newport, KY) for ending terror fundingā€¦nice if there was a post about it.

ā€œNothing was raised,ā€ the ambassador said, who also noted: ā€œThe U.S. is trying to understand and make assessment of the situation. We appreciate the role they are playing in trying to de-escalate it.ā€

Hereā€™s Chiselinā€™ Trump de-escalating it:

Probably what they thought even before he was elected, when heā€™s president weā€™re all going to have to be careful not to let him fuck over us and the US!

Our so-called President and ā€œleader of the Free Worldā€ more and more everyday seems hell-bent on destroying our relationships with the rest of the civilized world: breaking agreements, embracing murdering and tyrannical dictators, compromising our diplomatic and defense posture and capabilities and in each of these actions putting our country and people, as well as people world wide in great danger.

Who is behind all this, as I really donā€™t think Trump is smart enough to concoct this scheme? The Russians? The Chinese? The growing International oligarchy of wealthy criminals and despots? We need to find out. If Trump and his minions (or controllers and facilitators) are behind all this then it is clearly treason of the highest order.

Ummm, Iā€™m going to guess that some of these actions were treaty-based. Donnie canā€™t unilaterally pull out of such an agreement, afaik it requires Senate action. Again, his ignorance of his enumerated powers and abilities is striking. Sure, he can do a lot via executive orders, but heā€™s still not been elected ā€œKing of America.ā€
