Don’t worry, the US Senate is on the case. They will send him a sternly-worded letter, explaining how our Constitutional system works, etc., etc., and double-dog-daring Putin to launch nukes.

Laughable posturing. As John le Carre put it in The Russia House: “the Soviet knight is dying inside his armor.” The fact that Putin could do something stupid and unleash an enormous amount of suffering doesn’t change the fact that, as a leader and as an economy, they got nothin’.
