The word used by Mr Putin - “zapis” - can mean both a written transcript and an audio recording. A presidential aide, Yury Ushakov, who was present at the news conference, has clarified to the RIA-Novosti news agency that there is no recording, and that only a transcript exists.
“No audio recording was made. A transcript is done by a person who is present at the talks for that purpose,” Mr Ushakov said.

“The idea that we would accept any evidence from President Putin is absurd.”

She add that by meeting with the Russian foreign minister and ambassador, Donald Trump has added more “fuel to the fire”.

Russian governments are lairs. I’m guessing that their people are no different from us–lying wise. The US Government as foisted some beauts on the American people over the years as well though. Probably, but not necessarily. Putin wants the US to blow up internally. If Putin starts to think that providing incriminating evidence to get Trump impeached will tear the country apart more quickly and more thoroughly than leaving him in office, then that’s what Vlad will do - unless he needs Trump to ensure the Rosneft-Exxon deal can resume.
