Discussion: Proud Boys Continue Posting In Stone's Defense Despite Gag Order

Amazing how complicated these things are to the master race.

Doesn’t this fit ABJ’s definition of crossing the line in the new gag order? Can’t we just revoke bail and throw the MF-er in jail already now ?

Wow the Master of Mischief and Mayhem can’t control his minions, sad.

Look, I would just as soon see Stone with permanent severe toothaches and non-stop diarrhea for the rest of his life. But how do you expect to place a gag order on the people that support him? They have the right to babble (and lie) as much as anybody else. Stone was in a position that a judge could issue a gag order. He really can not “control” these fools. If publicly supporting him on social media is actually a way to get his sorry ass thrown in jail… let’s all join his support team and get it done!

He doesn’t want to control them, it’s part of the plan. The judge should just cut the BS and throw him in the slammer.

there has to be proof there was coordination IIRC.

It would be really wonderful if Stone is thrown in the slammer due to the adoration of his honky fans. I guess it would be irony with extra spray starch.

Off topic tweets that seem somewhat related - and very funny regardles and are kicked off by JoshMarshall

It’s not organic (or stochastic) if they’re being controlled or coordinated …

Just adding to points made above. Politico had a story a few weeks ago about how Stone was anticipating a gag order and had plans to circumvent it. Part of that was the use of surrogates.

If he just fed them talking points ahead of the gag order, then he isn’t in jeopardy. If he’s having any communication at all with them now, and it can be proved, then his goose is cooked. Proving it is the hard part, so this might come down to whether there’s a wiretap order on him now. And if it’s working. I don’t know how well the NSA and FBI are doing these days with encrypted phone transmission, or if they need the actual phone…

Didn’t Roger Stone, during his last hearing before Judge Berman Jackson, state that the leader of the Proud Boys was part of his social media team?

Lock him up!

Enough rope apparently need not be given. Roger is known for his neck-ties.

He claims they are just volunteers whose names he knows not.

I wonder if these assholes understand that they might see Stone thrown in jail because they lack common sense and restraint. I wonder if Stone realizes that the Court might expect him to shut his “volunteers” down. So many on the right lack any respect for the law and any real understanding of the power of a pissed off Federal Judge.

I don’t think the court expects him to shut down his volunteers. They have a 1st Amendment right to voice opinions on the case, as long as they aren’t being actively directed by Stone as surrogate mouthpieces.

Which I think they probably are, because Stone thinks this is a game and he’s enjoying it way too much. But coordination has to be proved.

On Thursday, U.S. District Judge Amy Berman placed a gag order on Stone that not only limits what he can say in public and online, but also what his volunteers and associates can say about him as well. [emphasis added]

If true, Roger may indeed soon see the inside of the Greybar Hotel. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy bigger asshole.
