Beautiful. Democracy in action. Maybe not so much inside the gorgeous Fox Theatre, but thankfully they’re outside making their voices heard. There’s a petition drive starting on primary day to have Snyder recalled in a special election, which would come on the next general election date. Its been tried before, so there’s no way of knowing if this time it will succeed…but hey, worth another go at it.

Michigan recalls have become significantly harder after Snyder approved changes to the state laws governing recalls in 2012 that require stronger charges against officials and faster signature collection. No state officials have been recalled since the laws were passed.
Fucking weasel figured this would be coming his way again and tried to cut petitioners off at the knees so they wouldn’t have a way forward this time.
