âMr. Rowlandâs many contributions to society in both public and private life are well documented,â Rowlandâs lawyersâ wrote.
Translation: they got nothing.
Lock this fvcker up!
BTW, that photo is not John Rowland. Itâs Brian Foley.
Of course Rowland is ââŚan individual who simply refuses to âplay it straight,â because he delights in the illicit, dark side of politicsâŚâ In other words, heâs a Republican. Glad we straightened that out.
If you can ignore this guys rap sheet, then he is definitely concerned with the public interest, and you have to to believe that.
Rowland seriously has a screw loose - or - a blue wire on a green terminal - any fool with half a brain would know that the stuff he was doing would put him back in jail - but thatâs John Rowland - heâs not just âany foolâ!
He was sentenced today to 30 months, plus a $35k fine. Of course, he can get the money to pay the fine by doing campaign work for someone and getting paid under the table for it.
Wow two GOP criminals in one week, and the weekâs not over.
So, they finally caught Frank Underwood? Well, one of him, at least.
Look, you guys. We really donât just want your offices. We want your crooked asses too.
Rowland, 57, once a rising star in the Republican Party, was governor from 1995 to 2004, when he resigned amid the first criminal scandal. He also was elected to the U.S. House three times and had been mentioned as a possible vice presidential candidate or cabinet member.
A gÂŽifter-before-his-time.
Today? Heâd be the front-runner in the ÂŽPOTUS Clown Car-- for at least a week.
