Discussion: Prosecutors Recommend 3 Years In Prison For Korean Exec Who Had 'Nut Rage'

Discussion for article #232741

this case happened because of devotion to my work

All her annual evaluations gave her high marks for thoughtless cruelty…
Prison chefs are already planning the careful and artistic placement of food on her meal trays by immaculately clean chimps.

wouldn’t it be more fitting to sentence her to 3 years as an attendant on the airline? maybe under the supervision of the person she tossed off the plane… justice tempered with mercy…

Prosecutors are likely under government pressure to show that the Chaebol are subject to law, too.

Clearly we need to commission Tiffany’s to build an executive guillotine. Everybody will be much happier.

Either the Lady Boss pictures have all been replaced by the ones of Pathetic Victim of Judicial Oppression, or she just got the news from Dad that she’s taking this one for the team.

First…

Lawyers for Cho have not disputed the major elements of the prosecutor’s account of events. Instead, they have focused on a technical rebuttal of the charges. That has included trying to demonstrate flight attendants didn’t know proper service procedures.

Second…

Cho, who has been in custody since Dec. 30, said she did not realize the chief flight attendant has law enforcement authority during the flight and that ordering him off the plane was consequently a risk to safety. The “final call” about returning to the gate was made by the captain, she said.

So, the ignorance of the issues is only supposed to work in her favor? Right…

There are a number of other corrupt industries they need to tackle as well.
