Mueller’s investigation keeps spreading and growing. Hopefully it will cast a wide net that will haul in all the wrongdoers. I have no sympathy for anyone, regardless of party, who broke the rules in representing foreign clients. That whole bloody mess constructed by lobbying firms needs to be opened up and sterilized.
FARA should be rigorously enforced.
What piques my interest is the fact that there seems to be a specific time when Americans were going to other countries to manage, help, control candidates running for office in foreign countries. But does it coincide with foreigners hiring US lobbying groups to push for certain positions that would favor certain foreign politicians? And those lobbying groups not complying with FARA?
And where is the line with Israel? And have these groups defined US State Dept. policy, for any country?
If you’re going to commit crimes, don’t do it in writing or in recorded speeches to your employees.
