Discussion: Prosecutors Drop Greitens Charge, Seek Special Prosecutor

It shouldn’t be long before before he’s lecturing everybody about morality, given his long experience with immorality, you know.

TRUssia’s success isn’t in “counter-punching”, but in creating confusion and chaos, and bullying people poorer and weaker than he is.

But the Justice Dept. isn’t poor or weak. TRUssia is trying his “best” to muddy the waters with his “Democrat prosecutor” and “deep state” happy-crappy, but only Fox viewers will believe it.

These Bums are going down. Unfortunately, not quickly enough for world peace and prosperity. The Law is slow.

Abuse and bullying and bribery and theft are the only ways Repugs can win. Sadly, they’re really good at it, and well-financed too.

I read today that his approval numbers are down in the low 30’s. Not looking good for him.

Greitens thought he could get a mistrial by calling the prosecuting attorney as a witness and making the trial all about the way evidence had been collected by a private detective… But now he’s got to face a special prosecutor who won’t make the same mistakes. This is just going to make it easier for the legislature to impeach and conduct their trial. The evidence will now be collected and verified in exactly the way needed for the impeachment trial to proceed smoothly.

The guy has become a fallen military angel. Grifting off the sacrifice of those who were wounded is too much dishonesty for even the average Republican. Conservatives are grossed out by the extent of the sanctimonious graft demonstrated by this guy since taking office. The scandal is just another nail in his coffin.

Greitens is a carpetbagging bully backed by out of state money. He pushed past party regulars to take the seat away from the GOP heir apparent for the governor’s office. When he isn’t doing something blatantly illegal like installing a phone app in his office that automatically deletes all evidence of calls and text, he’s strong arming any who question him or his methods.

The guy is a gift to Democrats who now finally have someone they can rally against in the GOP like Todd Akin.

First one ever called by the legislature there.

After reading this and Zachary Roth’s piece on Greitens, this whole ugly episode reads like another chapter in Graham Green’s prescient book, The Quiet American. Greitdens, just t like the American in the novel, roars through life causing pain and suffering wherever he goes, claiming he is doing good things. I am fed up with people with apparently innocent motives causing great harm to others, often in the name of “American values”. And the perpetrator is usually some flag-waving dork. This crap gets old fast.

It wasn’t a mistake. The director of his foundation refused to give him the list when he asked for it, citing the law. Besides not being a valid defense, he wasn’t ignorant of the law.

No, you couldn’t write a factual book. Clinton had consensual affairs during his marriage. He did not harass or abuse anyone. Stop using Clinton as the moral equivelence of what others have done.

No one admires Bill Clinton and what he accomplished in his administration more than I, and I said nothing about “non consensual”. The fact is he fooled around with women. Hillary knows it, we know it. And because he fooled around consensually with one particular woman named Lewinski she’s been hung with demeaning names since then and will never be free of them.
