Good to know that the guy who says the most vile racist things is too moderate for South Carolina’s white supremacists and Ted Cruz.
Edit This also begs the question: If a recent poll showed that 40% of Trump supporters wish the South won the Civil War, and Trump is not racist enough to suit Cruz and Cruz supporters, how many Cruz supporters wish the South won? Must be easily more than half, my guess.

The minute-long call was bankrolled by the Courageous Conservative
Political Action Committee, a pro-Cruz group. A sped-up message at the
end of the recording says the Cruz campaign had no involvement in the
creation of the robocall.
The 2016 Cruz campaign has shredded any remaining fiction that the PACs and the campaigns don’t coordinate.
However, because FEC regulations require them to maintain an appearance of that fiction, I am surprised that there haven’t been a lot of spoofing PACs set up. For example, a pro-Bush PAC could set up “Conservative Citizens for Cruz” and carry out campaigning and other efforts that actually undermine the Cruz campaign. These legal entities could be cranked out by the dozens and have relatively opaque funding. With careful legal review of their solicitation materials, they could even collect contributions from pro-Cruz (or pro-Whoever) voters and use them against Cruz.

This is precisely why I desperately want Cruz to be their nominee. He would be savaged by minority voters in the general election. I think he could actually be the first Republican presidential candidate in decades to lose the white vote.

The Democrats are the GOTPer’s enemies. It’s only the Democrats who are slow on the uptake on this one.
This “opposition party” shit is a load of crap. The Democrats bleat on and on about how they want a sane, functioning opposition party, and that’s just further evidence that they’re missing the point. Were the roles reversed, the GOTPers would cut their throats and only think about them as long as it took to steal the loose change from their wallets.
