I feel sorry for his family. This guy sounds like a now-deceased relative of mine who believed to the end of her days that her son’s two kids were fathered by another man with the twin of her daughter-in-law. Her daughter-in-law didn’t have a twin and the kids looked just like her son. My relative was hospitalized twice for paranoid schizophrenia, but had long periods of semi-sanity.

Of course it’s possible that Murray (likely the typical fantasizing right-winger) overdid it and simply came up with a screwier than usual scenario to explain his losing the primary.

I expected a history of bizarre political views, but according to the article Murray had pretty straightforward positions, aside form expecting to run a congressional campaign on $50. This latest qualifies as jumping the shark.

Why hasn’t any Democratic organizaton or PAC put together all the batshit insane things the GOPers have been saying into one great political ad? This party is too crazy to govern, and all you have to do is use their own words to convince the low info voter, if someone with the wherewithal would only just do it already?
