Discussion for article #245248
Bloomberg isn’t that popular in New York. He was before he manipulated the rules to get a third term, but he isn’t today. I’m not convinced he would help the Republicans, certainly not against Hillary. I think he would pull far more Romney voters from whichever loon the Republicants nominate than he would pull Obama voters from Hillary. He knows that and won’t run assuming she gets the nod. in the (IMO unlikely) event Bernie is the nominee, it’s a bit harder to say.
One would hope so. although he is claiming that he would be running only if Trump and Sanders get the nod.
Is this guy (Priebus) even relevant any more?
I think this is Jedi mind games, by this dude, with the obviously fake name.
No. What a wimp/
Guess he doesn’t have the party heads behind him.
What party heads?
Nah, I think he´s being sincere for once. He knows that neither Cruz nor Trump has a chance, and he´s dreaming of a fairy tale ending; there´s nothing else he can do.
His fairy tale ending written by the Brothers Grimm.
Poor Reince Priebus has been emasculated by Trump. How does it feel to be and ineffective eunuch Peince baby?
Most folks around the nation don’t know or understand what Bloomberg did to get his third term. Bloomberg would pull more Romney voters, but it’s a major segment of those voters who are likely to migrate to Clinton which frightens the Republican establishment. If they move to Clinton and vote against the down ballot candidates who fall in line behind Trump, they face disaster in the 2016 Congressional elections in many districts. They can always claim they’re independents when they vote for Bloomberg and still pull the lever for a sycophantic Republican creature who’s still supporting Trump
It would seem that this is a cry of desperation by ReiNCe PRieBuS - hoping that a wild card thrown into the race would shake the inevitable triumph of the Truz (Crump?) ticket. In ordinary times this would be cause for horror, since it would split Republican voters and guarantee an easy Democratic victory.
Whatsa matter, Reince, your “deep bench” losing that new car smell already?
Jeez, at least wait until some votes are cast before sending up an SOS.
I’m not sure what to think…
Seems Rinse is saying something I might agree with…
Clearly it must actually be good for Dems if Bloomberg gets in, as Rince has never been right about anything.
Whoa… careful there. You are implying that Priebus is as infallibly wrong as William Kristol! This, I think, is an impossibility, a contradiction in terms, a defiance of all things natural and supernatural.
Bill Kristol has, I think, achieved a divine state of Perfect Error. No one can truly be as wrong as he.
