BTW,maybe I missed it but I don’t recall hearing “rinses” name at all in regards to these loop sided wins,but I do see this in my state this morning as many of you in yours will be a common headline.

I quit watching MSNBC during the day a while ago, as all they do is regurgitate the crap that Fox puts out. They spew every non scandal over and over again just like Fox does. Oh they act like they are fair because at least they will have a Dem on once in a while, but they are NOT liberal in any way, shape, of form. All they do is fear monger, and all they did was talk about how unpopular the President was, bringing the Dems down, when his approval ratings in October of this year were basically the same as they were in October 2012, right before he won a second term.
That they perpetuated that crap, instead of pointing that very fact out, finally made me see just how right wing they have become too. If they think that means higher ratings, they thought wrong, because Dems are turning them off. Chuck Todd has set the narrative at MSNBC, and they will regret it.

AND, that is what is leading to the downfall of this country too. With us basically having a money free for all in our elections, our Founding Fathers form of democracy is now dead and gone.

The American people repudiated effective government 2 days ago not Obama. They did that because twerps like Mr. Priebus have hustled them to do so. And aint it a sweet deal: “elect me and ill fuck up the joint”…until recently that would not have been a winner but thanks to the likes of Reince it works now.
But lets all take a breath and ask just what can a clown brigade like the modern GOP do…even if it wanted to do something? And how long can pukes like Priebus BS the American people? Lets hope they elect more of these assholes in 2016…stuff the joint full of GOP’ers. In 2018 make them show their cards.

There are still two thing in Obama’s weapons holster. The Senate GOP doesn’t have a 60 vote proof majority (that’s assuming democrats in the Senate have any spine at all which I pretty much doubt personally) and he’s got his veto pen.

So true. I don’t expect the Founding Fathers to have anticipated the rise of the Industrial Revolution, the Nuclear Age, or the reality of ubiquitous computing under the control of massive Borg like Multi-National corporations–but their little plan for governance that addressed the problems of plantation owners and beer makers in the 18th century falls rather short of what we need to defend ourselves from Oligarchy in the 21st century.

But, if Obama and the Dems had spoken this clearly about the GOP starting in 2009, exposing the GOP clearly and plainly, the GOP would be on its last leg, instead of about to make more mischief. “I don’t believe a word McConnell says” should have been the default public response to our journalists dishonest questions.

Obama should do it now. The political cost are nearly zero. Protect Southern (white) Democrats is basically an exercise is protecting Dodo birds (they’re extinct). Wait until after the LA runoff that do it as a Christmas present.
The GOP can of course impeach him (but they won’t have 2/3 of the Senate to remove him so what) if they go that rout they will fire up Black voters for 2016 AND show Latinos and Asian voters they don’t really want to see any progress on immigration.
Plus I never understood why Dems should let immigration reform be a bipartisan en devour? If Dems pass it they’ll move both Latinos and Asians from 70% support levels to 80%. The GOP will have to deal with their Hate Talk Radio host and Teahadist who will just keep spouting racist rhetoric. They let Hillary repair the party’s image with white voters (she will move white woman toward the Dems by at least 5% nationally).
At some point Dems need to stop worry about appearing to do the reasonable thing and start making power plays. Obama should try to drag the GOP controlled Congress down, so Dems can retake the Senate with the great 2016 map (in a Presidential election year).
