Health and Human Service Secretary Tom Price showed little concern on Wednesday for the decision by law enforcement to arrest a reporter who had tried to ask the former congressman a question Tuesday.

Straight from “The Idiot’s Guide to Being a Dictator” - start arresting the journalists who ask you unpleasant questions.

Clear violation of the first amendment.

And wholly typical of the Trumpists.

Do all the 2nd amendment gun nuts who voted for the Drumpfster Fire realize what Donnie and his Vladdy have in mind?

Firearms-Control Legislation and Policy: Russian Federation

While self-defense and protection of property is a constitutional right guaranteed to Russian citizens, Russian legislation on gun control is relatively strict, limiting the circulation of firearms to Russian citizens older than eighteen years of age with a registered permanent residence, and for the purposes of self-defense, hunting, and sports activities only. The acquisition of guns is based on licenses provided for a five-year period by local police departments at one’s place of residence after a thorough background check, including a review of the petitioner’s ability to store guns safely and an evaluation of his/her medical records. Mentally ill people and those who have been treated for substance abuse are not allowed to possess firearms.

So now a reporter may only ask a question in a press conference? Otherwise they get locked up. So much for the First Amendment

The complaint alleged that he was “aggressively breaching” Secret Service agents…

Assault with a deadly question.

That reporter’s lucky to be alive after perpetrating such a vicious attack.

Where will all this journalistic violence end?

I remember when an Obama administration official had a reporter arrested - er no,

I remember when a Bush administration official had a reporter arrested - er no.

Keep going back. Closest I can guess in terms of direct action against a journalist goes back to Nixon - and was worse: Breaking into the Psychologist of Daniel Elsberg. Is this where we are headed?

Puzzle time: how many references to the infamy of the Nixon Administration has been evoked by actions by and around the administration in the past 30 hours?

Saturday night massacre - check.
Direct action taken against an aggressive reporter doing his job - check
Meeting with Henry Kissinger - check

Are there others I am missing?

You forgot rounds of golf and the Mar-e-Coli / White House visitor logs. And, oh yeah, the tax returns.

Helluva start, though!

First, they arrest the journalists.
Then, they separate themselves from the journalists.
Next, they only allow the enemy’s journalists to cover the news.

Russians kill their journalists.
Trumpp is taking lessons from Russia.

I was trying to keep to the Nixon (downfall) White house similarities that have been exhibited in the past day or so.

The total list of possibly impeachable actions certainly include those you add, as well as Trump Inc continued abuse and violation of the Emoluments clause. Nepotism. By Friday I am sure we will have numerous other items to add.
