Trump doesn’t care if it is the truth. I’m sure from his (and Kelly’s perspective), if Ms. Willoughby got slapped around a bit, she “had it coming to her.”

My hometown had an elementary school gym teacher who also led a Boy Scout troop and summered as a counselor at a dude ranch camp in Wyoming. Rumors and allegations of sexual misconduct with his students and scouts kept popping up and swept under the rug. Finally, at age 90-something, he was charged with three counts of child sexual assault in Wyoming from decades earlier (WY has no statute of limitations on such crimes).
Don’t stop telling the truth. It may take decades, but persistence pays off.

Back in the 60s I had a math teacher that was an excellent educator. We learned from him. Students loved him. He was effette and even in our young minds and in more innocent times we suspected he was “different”. One year he was arrested with another man for having sex in a car. Not a student. I can’t say it never happened, but there were never any rumors of that. The school terminated him, for an indescretion related to his sexuality. Probably ruined his career. Today that man would have been able to live a life as who he was. Life in the closet ruined him. And yet millions of conservatives long for a return to those days. Days when a good person’s life could be ruined.
If you associate with a Republican you’re part of the problem.
