There is a clear consensus among (non-insane) members of the international community that the ICC was never the slightest threat to US sovereignty. Because its statutes only kick in if a credible investigation fails to take place, the ICC only adjudicates:

• potential war criminals from parts of the third world without functioning court systems
• war criminals from past conflicts where the parties have agreed to cede some jurisdiction to the ICC for the specific matters in question (eg some tribunals for th wars in the former Yugoslavia)

I agree with you as far as you go but let’s not pretend the awareness of guilt is limited to Bolton alone.

Both parties, Republicans and Democrats, think this way. It is a “bi-partisan” American sickness, and it’s not limited to our so-called “leaders.”

It’s so easy to see why so much of the world hates the US and its criminal officials. This is nothing but pure lawlessness sanctioned and fostered by the Trump Crime Administration.
