Discussion: Pompeo Told Crown Prince His Fate As King Rests On Handling Of Disappearance

This doesn’t sound harsh; it sounds like an apology for being involved in this at all and a clear message that they would not be involved at all except, you know, global pressure. Please don’t be mad at us.

Most likely, MbS told Popeo to pound sand and get the f*ck out of his country. Oh, and PS, if Rump doesn’t back up SA on this horror, tell “Kush” that he (and Trump, Inc.) can kiss any money from the House of Saud goodbye.

I also read there’s a plan to announce severe sanctions on Iran on something like Nov. 3 for reasons that will occur to most folks’ minds and the free flow of Saudi oil was meant to take up the slack. Put sanctions on the Saudis and that piece of the puzzle gets lost behind the radiator. One more reason to do the usual dance about who can ultimately know anything about anything really they “strongly denied” the grisly murder and oh look a cow.

What do you want to bet Pompeo’s people leaked this to make it look as though he’s getting tough on the Saudis?

Pompeo reportedly warned bin Salman that he would have to “own” what happened to Washington Post writer Jamal Khashoggi and that “every fact is going to get out.”

And if MbS steps back and looks at the whole board he sees that Trump has already forsworn the use of any effective strategic counter moves like canceling defense contracts or changing the status of forces agreement. MbS knows that Trump has painted himself into a corner. Trump has left himself with very few options and they are getting fewer and weaker with every new tweet. If MbS knows his Shakespeare he is probably thinking…

it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing.

Pompeo’s private tone is the strongest stance seen taken by the Trump administration since Khashoggi disappeared

Correction: this is the strongest stance REPORTED BY AN UNKNOWN SOURCE to have happened. They have not earned the benefit of the doubt on one single thing, since lying and obfuscation are their primary modes.

He also reportedly told bin Salman the investigation needed to wrap up quickly and those involved would have to be dealt with posthaste.

The translation sounds very much like:
1 kill every member of the 15-man hit squad
2 take several members of each of the 15 men’s families hostage to terrify them into silence
3 write the dead men’s confession for them while expressing outrage and condolences
4 give us a kiss

No one will ever hear from those 14 again, a promise you can bet on.

Sure Pompeo had the cojones to say that. He did all that and more while sucking Mo BS off, teabagging him and brown nosing the santorum under the white arabic skirt.

Pompeo has no personal assets financed by Saudi money. Thus, he has more flexibility in making veiled (but ultimately unenforceable) threats to the King.

This guy will probably get blamed fully and they’ll execute him so he can’t say otherwise. Saudi’s probably have plenty of bodyguards waiting to step up next.

I saw that some (all?) of them were not only identified but pictures were provided. I hope they have fun traveling outside SA.

North Korea is lovely this time of year.

Pompeo Told Crown Prince His Fate As King Rests On Handling Of Disappearance

Same thing Kissinger told Pinochet and Suharto — just to cite two examples.

Fat Nixon knew. LOCK HIM UP.

I’ll bet, he took that gracefully…You’re dead meat, Pompeo…

That’s pretty much it, zero credibility on both sides. Like a sit down dinner full of mobsters passing pleasantries with no intention of revealing anything. And there’s no starting point to begin from to make a determination because there’s no way to find it when no one is really looking. What a crowd.

Sounds better in the original Klingon.

As a general rule, it’s a very bad idea to piss off your bodyguards…
