Burke would be such a great choice. It’s time to bring everybody together in the state, and start making practical decisions by someone other than David Koch.

I don’t understand how Scott Walker has lasted this long. He us an unapologetic tool of the 1 Percent (specifically the Koch brothers). Wants to raise taxes on the middle class to pay for tax cuts for the rich and corporations. Doesn’t believe in the minimum wage, hates unions. Any non-rich person who votes for him is making a big mistake.

That is just an utterly crappy and unjournalistic way to describe the situation (and yes, I have a BA in Broadcast Journalism).
The best I can say about Strauss’ writing here is that he is clueless and ignorant.

Seems she won back what she lost in the falsely presented “plagiarism” charge (still confused how a consultant for a candidate can plagiarize himself – if that’s plagiarism what isn’t?) with the debate. One more debate later this week. Regardless of how that goes, my sense from local media here in the Milwaukee market (AM talk radio in particular) is that Walker’s own internal polling shows serious trouble for the incumbent.
Wisconsin voters, in the end, just couldn’t make the leap to recall in the absence of proven criminality (had the recall election been held even two months earlier he likely would have been thrown out). Women and independents may be breaking for Burke in the closing weeks, undecideds may be looking at all the baggage he drags – not just the scandals of John Does, but his questionable choice of underlings and, ahem, bald political ambition. His “friends” have done their best to keep the dormant investigations alive by filing lawsuit after lawsuit against the John Doe prosecutors, filling headlines for months now. Too bad every GOP candidate can’t have friends like that.
