RUN SCOTT RUN! The nation is holding your seat in the Klown Kar!
Scottie has about as much of a chance of becoming president as a midget has of reaching the top-shelf liquor without a stepstool.
Personally, I think Walker will find any kind of success as JEB’s veep. He’s able to provide JEB with every hyper Rethug nastiness in the general that JEB won’t be able to go into.
On his own, he’ll only see the inside of the WH on a tour.
You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.
I don’t think Walker would be a good VP candidate. Remember the last Republican VP nominee was from Wisconsin, and he failed to deliver electoral votes or the sort of broad mid-western support he was supposed to do. Also, Scott Walker doesn’t exactly play well with others.
Can you imagine Scottie getting the nomination? He might set a new record for getting your ass kicked at the polls in a presidential election.
His numbers in this poll are even lower than the latest Pew Poll. As I have said before, he is not well liked in the state.
The Pew Poll results within Wisconsin:
35% want Walker to run for President/ 58% do not support his candidacy
43% approve of Walker/ 53% disapprove
42% support his right to work legislation
In a matchup with Hillary
Clinton 52% Walker 43%

Ahem, excuse me.
At first I thought the news media were purposely selecting pictures wherein Scotty is caught with a dopey expression on his face. I’ve finally come to realize that he just looks that way all the time. And it fits with his general ability to think. He cannot go beyond right-wing talking points without sounding like an ignoramus.
All your base are belong to Hillary.
How many polls does it take to change a light bulb?
Even though he’s relatively young (47), Scott Walker doesn’t strike me as the type of politician who would be content with being essentially a figurehead for 8 years. He wants to be in charge, or at the very least have clear power. And I’m not sure its any different with any of the other Republican contenders.
I think the Republican VP will be someone not in the current group of Presidential contenders - think someone like Governor Susanna Martinez from New Mexico or Senator Kelly Ayotte from New Hampshire.
The poll says Wisconsinites prefer Hilary to scottie 52% to 40%.
However, you can’t believe wisconsinites…they elected, then re-elected this fool in a recall election. How dumb are they?
Where were all these disapproving registered voters in November?
I have no idea of who Jebya - or Kasich should he jump in - will end up picking. Kasich wouldn’t have any reason to go near Walker, so we’re down to Jebya.
I agree it’s a stretch to imagine Jebya picking a governor on the edge of possible indictment in a state coming together in hatred of him - UNLESS Jebya has a rationally perceived need to neuter Koch bucks from raining on some third party candidate. There’s nothing on the horizon about that, but it was tried against Bill and they’re clearly considering the kitchen sink with Hillary, and since we can’t see into the future, there’s no current basis for discounting it.
If Jebya were to pick Walker PLUS in the even more unlikely case they were to game the White House. I’d consider going heavy into the under on whether Walker makes it past Spiro Agnew in time spent as veep. GHW Bush, Quayle, Gore, Cheney, they all came to the job rich. joebiden came to it full pension, well-married, untold wealth in friends, contacts, favors and chits, and without ever having given a solitary fk for his savings account. OTOH Walker like Agnew is a cheap conniving feral chiseler plus Walker’s mind is hoppin’ like a toad.
I’m beginning to have hope that the people of Wisconsin are coming back to their senses.
Wisconsin is like a lot of the rest of the country. Our electorate is really different in presidential elections vs. mid-term elections. I suppose you can say we are “dumb” for that reason. I certainly think it’s dumb for liberals to sit out mid-term elections and focus only on presidential politics, but that’s a problem for liberals and Democrats everywhere. Not just in Wisconsin.
…but you can fool a lot of fools all the time.
Especially in low-turnout mid-term elections in a wildly polarized state with an aging population and a serious long-term brain-drain problem.
