According to Rachel Maddow last night the new National PPL poll says that 54% of Repubs think POTUS is Muslim and 44% think POTUS wasnā€™t born in U.S. And of course Trump Leading with 29%

I find the 54% of republicans difficult to believe. I wonder who was polled. There are a lot of republicans out there who do not buy into that bullshit. They may not like his policies but they donā€™t believe heā€™s muslim or not born in this country. Obama won a lot of republican voters in both elections

The other half of Trumpā€™s support is the hardcore racist crowd and the, never knew anything-still know nothing-ainā€™t ever going to learn crowd.

IOW, all of Trumpā€™s support comes from teabagger/birthers and the dregs of the nation.
They couldnā€™t elect Palin, McCain or Romnerd and they damned for sure wonā€™t ever get the nationā€™s biggest jerk into the White House.
Weā€™ll have a woman President, possibly an avowed socialist, a Latino, an Asian and someone from the LGBT community long before we elect a class-A jerk with a mean racist tilt and a lying mouth that just wonā€™t STFU.

I wish you were right but my Repub relatives all believe it. Everytime we discuss the POTUS I hear the Muslim birther lines. I donā€™t even try anymore telling them differently. Talk radio and Fox say he is Muslim and not born in US and that is their truth.

Also I read that not sure the same poll but a poll said that 66% of Trump supporters think he is Muslim and 61% of Trump supporters think not born in US. That is your Repub party whether you want to believe it or not.
