Please enlighten. I still do not understand how this guy could get re-elected in supposedly āblueā New jersey. He must have had an extraordinary disinformation campaign, or his Democratic party opponent must have been extraordinarily weak. The man is a walking contradiction. What did it? I lived in New Jersey for a few years and thought the place generally relatively savvy. But that was forty years ago. What is the temperature of Jersey now? Is there some relation to the political dynamics in Wisconsin, equally baffling?
I wonder if those poll questions were created in response to his attempt to spin that āwant him as Presidentā question from the spring?
You remember - the one where he said that NJ voters didnāt want him as President because they couldnāt bear the thought of losing him as Governor.

I have to admit that itās refreshing to have candidates drop the dog whistles and double speak. Itās actually kind of adorable the way that loudmouthed bullies like Christie and Trump are so very proud of themselves for being willing to directly insult women and people of color instead of bothering to learn the conservative code words. You can almost smell the testosterone!

More than half of NJ voters describe Christie as āarrogant.ā The very same could be said of Trump or Cruz et al. Apparently winger like arrogant bullies.
It seems that there are two types of personalities with people who are grossly obese. They are either real happy and funny as all heck and just all around fun to be around like Megan McCarthy, or you are like Christy and you are a complete ah and you use your weight to push people around.
So true. Once they slip and fall there is no getting up.
