Discussion for article #226327
But…But…But… The talking heads on the news channels say…
And because many Dems were out front, talking about how this is just a cover for impeachment, it’s a double whammy. This suit is not good enough for the GOP base (they really truly badly want impeachment) and it’s seen as a waste of time.
Thanks Obama.
Please proceed!
No shit . . . .
Even more interesting, the report found people who identify themselves as moderates were twice as likely to vote Democrat because of the law suit.
And the backlash to republicans when the lawsuit goes absolutely no where and is dropped (as an aside, has Boehner even FILED the lawsuit yet?) is going to be fierce…and aimed directly at republican leadership.
What a stupid poll. As if the liberals, conservatives, Republicans, Democrats etc… weren’t going to vote for their Party’s Candidate regardless of the House’s actions.
So 72% of Liberals who 100% of them were going to vote for a Democrat are going to do what? Vote for the same Democrat more enthusiastically? The Conservatives who 100% of them are going to vote for the Republican are going to do what? Vote twice for the same Republican?
It is just a stupid poll. It is shocking that liberals/democrats are going to vote for a Democrat and conservatives/Republicans are going to vote for a Republican.
What would matter is if the House action would bring out those who generally don’t vote in mid-terms or have a big impact on Independents and not how those who are already committed to a candidate are going to vote.
Has to do with motivation for turnout, jarhead. Which, if your reading comprehension skills weren’t so abysmal, you could have discerned from the headline.
Stupid stupid.

The Democrats have a larger base than Republicans. The problem for Democrats has always been turning out that larger base. The Republicans seem to be doing a lot to solve that problem for Democrats across the country.
I suspect this is the real reason some notable TeaPublicans like Cruz have been backpedaling away from impeachment lately. They’ve seen the same polling data, and they don’t like what it tells them about impeachment.
Of course it’s motivating Democrats! Everything the Republicans try backfire, when you always lie, cheat and steal, that’s to be expected.
Skewed poll!!! Go right along House Republicans and sue the President, heck, go one step further, impeach, impeach, impeach.
Democrats wont turn out, the polls are lying (and Romney won the election).
It’s been two years and the delicious taste of their tesrs is STILL fresh.
I say impeach!!!
When did they start believing in polls that go against them?
Boehner is not gonna file it before the election. Quite frankly,I don’t think it will ever be filed.
