A Fox News poll? You mean the polling outfit that, in 2008, increased its sample size of Republicans in order to get John McCain within 3 points of Obama because Karl Rove said that’s where he needed to be in order to have a chance to win?
Sorry, but I consider them less reliable than Sahir Kapur’s speculations about the Republicans shutting down the government.

Not that its Fox, I’m suspicious of yet another Poll with a radical change in the percentages compared to just a few days ago.

Yes it is. Though most polling I have been watching does give Cassidy a slight (1-2 points) lead in the run off.
Basically, this election season has been seeing some tremendous swings, depending on who is doing the polling, nearly everywhere.
What is becoming suspect to me, however, is the HUGE swings (like over 10 points) are always being given to republicans. The next series of polling puts them back in line, but its wrecking havoc on the poll aggregators.

Looks like the end of the line.
Fox just had a 14 point swing on the generic ballot. In a poll conducted 8/10 - 8/12 they had the Democrats up 46 -39 and in the latest one conducted 9/7 - 9/9 they have the Republicans up 47 - 40.

That is a dumb comment. Mary Landrieu is a Louisiana Democrat the only kind of democrat who can get elected there and she’s been there since 1996. She is one of the most conservative dems in the senate but she votes with the democrats and supports presidents on most issues.

Unskewing the polls starts, now.
Thanks a whole shit bunch, everyone, for not voting and for looking the other way while the vote was restricted by Republicans. We’re going to lose the Senate. I hope you don’t mind having a shitload of your money spent on political stunts, because that’s what it will be down to.
