Yeah, she is a complete and total loony-bin nutjob. Iowa isn’t the kind of deep-red state where that kind of crazy should be able to win.

I think we’re all getting skewed in this poll, look how Braley’s line stays constant while Ernst’s roller-coasters erratically, and depends on a fickle support base to appear competitive.
The real question is, how will that fickle flock be flying around election time? Will the final tally be determined by the personal choice of so many who just can’t convince themselves to vote for a crazy person just because she’s the only Republican in the race?
That’s where it seems to be going.
There are a few Hawkeye here who know that Iowa has a pretty even match between progressive and conservative votes. The Republicans tend to be fanatical and they will all vote. Braley will have to motivate the progressives. He will lose if he tacks to the middle

The Republicans can’t even get the media to float false hope for them these days.
The horse race is turning into a Dem runaway.
More importantly for this poll in particular, their previous one in June had Ernst way in the lead at a time when most polls showed Braley with a fairly comfortable lead. Now that the race has tightened according to everyone else, Braley has a wider lead in the Loras poll? That makes me suspicious of their polling.
