Baley and the Iowa Democratic party need to work hard and get out the vote. We can sit here and explain away the āhouse biasā in these polls, or we can take them at face value and work harder than ever to keep Senator Harkinās seat Blue. This contest really worries me because I know Iowa does not deserve Grassley and Ernst as their representatives.
Well he has to be very careful with this. He already shot himself in the foot once with his farmer comment. It would be really bad for him if any attacks against Ernst were out of touch with regular Iowans.
I think itās smart of him to be cautious about attacking her. In fact, Iād even argue that attacks should come from third parties until she goes on the offensive against Braley. I think he needs to talk about what he can do for Iowa as a Senator, and I personally think he should embrace President Obama because Iowa was a +5 Blue state in 2012.
