I don’t know what Cruz is thinking. He’s killing his political career. Trump supporters hate him like poison for disrespecting their glorious leader and the never Trump people won’t support a spineless sell out. And it shows he doesn’t have the courage of his convictions. Awful, awful decision.
You have to be appalled at anything that normalizes Trump, and it hardly surprises anyone that Cruz is a treacherous weasel who’d sell out Jesus for 29 pieces of silver to cut Judas out of the deal. The only bright side of this is that I hope everyone will play that clip of Cruz exploding and calling Trump a pathological liar and all the rest in a 10-minute rant that’s pretty much the only honest 10 minutes he’s ever spent in his own lying life.
