Discussion: Politico: McGahn Eyeing Possible Exit From White House

He’s talking about not hiring anyone to replace Kelly or so they were saying last night. He wants to be his own COS.

BWAAAAAAAHAHAHahahahahahahahahahahaehahaha!

O do it, Trumpski, do it!

To be replaced by another Fox News talking head? Maybe Steve Doocy or Ainsley Earhart wants the job. Keep it in the loop.

I’ve worked for a small number toxic employers (mild by comparison) where an expected day came where I went home and never looked back. They can always mail your last check.

I think Rudy Giuliani is available…?

He should. He can juggle that ball too. You see, many people are saying he has a very good (or big) brain.

He could try a Reichstag fire to declare martial law and postpone the election indefinitely. I’m sure Vlad and Erik can whip up something. The preachers will give him another mulligan.

Yep. This strikes me as a situation of truly bad judgement where the decision should never have been made in the first place. Of course he’s leaving now because it’s obvious to all and sundry that the regime will be taken down (mostly from within). The madness is clear to all and is truly dangerous.

But I’d say it’s too late for him at this point. If McGahn were near retirement age, I’d say so what. He gets a nice parachute and he can take up fly fishing for a while. But, he seems reasonably young so this will live on his resume forever. He will need to negotiate that very carefully in the future.

So does McGahn get to scrub his files on the way out?

There are a LOT of people waiting on a last check (or any check) from Trump.

Ha! And it may well be a pussy or two or eleventy-seven who take down this whole shitshow!

Mike Pence?

He’ll stay until the day after Trump expresses his “full confidence”

HAHA! Exactly, but they should have known better.

That’s a good idea. Kobach will be a great White House Counsel. And he is going to be out of work soon. So give him a call before he is sent to jail for contempt of Court.

Now, that being established, consider the news KAC is thinking of taking a new WH gig…

Mike Pence - “I’d hit that”, said by no one ever.

McGahn is 49; he turns 50 June 16. But he hasn’t served long enough to get a government pension. Maybe the Guardians Of Prisoners can change the rules so his job in the federal pen qualifies as government service.

Is Nancy Grace available?

Or using 8pt type on a TV screen.
