I have my doubts. I think this is just a smoke screen to cover up the fact that Bannon is likely a target of the FBI investigation and the NSC wanted him out because he’s compromised.

We ought to help keep the war going. Bannon is the ruddy face of populism in the administration. Take to social media to make sure the deplorables know that he’s been sidelined and that New York/Wall St./Globalists have taken Trump hostage.

I agree with the premise, but i don’t quite see how Bannon could legally separate himself from all of the illegal/anti-American/Russian mafia ties that’s engulfing this entire tRump crime organization. If he takes anyone down, he takes himself down.
…unless he flees to Russia first.

I had the same thought but dismissed it as wishful thinking. But then, considering what we know about the Mercers and their role in the election, who knows? If Spicer puts any distance between Trump and Bannon–“Steve Bannon? How do you spell his name?”–that will be a tell.

Bannon Inc and Trump are the ones who might be willing to set up concentration camps. The rest are just heartless but not a threat in quite the same way.
