Seriously–it’s self-contradictory. The suggestion is your presence is more important than the person you’re threatening currently understands. It’s pathetic, an admission you’re held in slight regard. So yeah, it’s the last card you can play and it’s not a very high card.

Steve Bannon is reliably wrong when pitted against the good, the true and the beautiful. He is not reliably wrong when the comparison is with Ryan, McConnell and Gorsuch. Or with the plutocrats and the national grandeur conservatives.
This is a situation in which good government is, temporarily, beyond our reach. A self-neutralizing balance of envenomed incompetence among our masters may be the best outcome we can get during the next two years.

Hannity, while implying that he is so important that he might have been surveilled and unmasked actually implies that he had contact with foreign figures who would have been under investigation by US Intelligence. Precious!
