People always say this, but it is usually a very sensible act to the shooter. Not that TPM nor other national news outlets will follow the investigation, but I would be interested in the shooter’s possible motives and how he got his gun.
Yes. How many times a day must “senseless” acts as this occur before Congress decides yeah, it might help to fund CDC research to find solutions to all the gun deaths? Sounds like shootings that occur everywhere all the time are entirely predictable events and not unexpected while the truly senseless act is Congress’ failure to act.
Note that there have been only 3 comments this story in 5 hours. Might be that all these shootings are so predictable that we are resigned to them… Desensitized if you will.
I was going to go with blasé. We’ve seen this movie a million times, and it always ends the same. Dead people. No action. Shrieks and howls from gun nutters, nauseating interpretations of the 2nd amendment, and more gun sales. See you in the comments for the same thing in about a week or so!

Yes. 240 FBI agents investigating Obama to go with the 150 investigating Hillary. No wonder there is no one available to investigate honest-to-God hedge fund pyramid schemers and crooks.
