Doesn’t that fellow just look like the picture of intellectual and informative journalism?

It’s gratifying to know that he’s in the slammer. Apparently no one’s overly eager to post bond for this cretin.

Well, the I.Q-ometer scale they have him standing in front of never lies.

But seriously folks, yesterday I literally could not imagine that one person could come up with this idea and another person could agree that it was a good thing to do. It was too incredibly stupid and awful and creepy and mind-bogglingly wrong. Interesting times we live in, that’s all I can say.

Edit: Sorry, that was supposed to be a reply to Snarkus_Aurelius’ excellent joke.

Why does Breitbart spring to mind?

Conspiracy, huh? I hope James O’Keefe has an alibi.

Ben-Gayazi!

He looks like his handlers never told him about the getting arrested part. He’s probably singing like a bird. This story will get better before election day.

Cops must have found some juicy stuff on this guy’s laptop.

Must be a special-Mississippi height measuring machine where 69 inches is more than 70 and 63 equals 60…

The numbers on the left are metric. I think they correlate to the number of centimeters + 100. I mean the perp appears to be just under 70" tall. When you convert 70" to centimeters, it is 177.8 centimeters. And he appears to be just under 78 on the scale on the left.

Metric scale in Mississippi? Work of the devil!!!

Heh! But I’ve seen it a lot in booking photos and I have no idea why other than the fact that there has long been a call for us to go metric. I’ve been hearing it’s imminent for years and years.

I am an ex-pat and live in Munich Germany and so love the metric system. If you can multiply or divide by 10 you are set…but that’s a lot to ask of Americans…

I only saw half the picture and didn’t notice that! Just guessing, but maybe it’s like American and British gallons, so that one side is regular inches and the other is Confederate inches.

Makes sense. The numbers on the left cover about 2.5 times what’s on the right. I guess I’d have been more aware of this if I were arrested more often. You don’t see metric anywhere else but road signs on national parks, and wrenches and so forth.
