A young woman is dead. It’s not really funny. Maybe you should get away from the computer and remember that people are real.

She heard footsteps approaching so she fired. If you shoot at noises when hunting its a crime. You must see your pray. Not so for people I guess. I do hope this woman is happy with her “purchase”. Ill bet she never thought she’d get to shoot someone.

Yet another good person killed by a good person with a gun --right Mr. LaPierre?

When you’ve read hundreds of stories just like this, irony is all you got left.

Shoot first ask questions later, I guess.

In this country people aren’t real. They’re living bullseye targets for gun nuts. If it wasn’t her daughter it would have been a neighbor kid bouncing a basketball too loudly, or the post man slipping a letter in the mail slot. This is a 2nd Amendment killer’s world, we’re merely permitted to live in it until we catch hot lead between the eyes while shopping for carrots.

Another ‘good guy’ with a gun! Woohoo, nice shot momma!
Fucking idiots.

This reminds me of the old saw; when a playwright introduces a gun in the first act, it’ll be used by the third act. Same with these 2nd amendment worshippers. It’s not just that they want to carry. It’s causing a mindset where they have want to shoot and they no longer bother with common sense precautions anymore. Stand your ground laws perpetuate this mindset of shoot first and ask questions later as these people realize it’s almost impossible to prosecute. Another tragedy that could easily have been avoided.

Have to agree with squirreltown, hard to have a lot of sympathy for those who believe they are really protecting anyone with their guns.

Another sad example proving the validity of this study (Yeah, I’m dragging this out again).

Homes with guns are a dozen times more likely to have household members or guests killed or injured by the weapon than by an intruder.

Maybe she wants to be a cop.

No sympathy here, both got what they deserved. If you want unfettered gun rights this is what you get. I hope the mother is truly happy her gun rights have been preserved.

Blaming the victim? That’s best left to the ammosexuals.

Considering the number of Americans who have guns, I think it’s a bit silly to assume a large percentage of these shootings aren’t Democrats who maybe even support some gun control. I imagine a great deal of these folks have simply been brainwashed over time into believing they really do need a gun to protect themselves and their loved ones. People who are even afraid of guns or are uncomfortable having one have been repeatedly told that not having one is irresponsible and dangerous. They’ve been lied to about the likelihood they’ll be the victim of a violent crime, and they’ve been long led to believe a gun is the only thing that will protect them. That may not at all be the case here, the mother may be a true gun fetishist, but she might also be a victim of the gun lobby and a MSM that has spent decades telling folks to be afraid and that only a gun can save them.

It seems that you and Wayne LaPierre are opposite sides of the same coin.
