No harm no foul then? Seems like when you accidentally kill someone while driving your car, you often get charged with manslaughter. Guess since it’s a gun, and in the Constitution and all, that you just get a pass. Next time I shove someone down a long flight of stairs to their death, I’ll claim it was an accident resulting from an expressive dance and I was only exercising my 1st Amendment rights, so, whoops.

Bullet probably hit the femoral artery. Did he not teach her the basic number 1 rule, never point a gun at someone unless you intend to shoot? Because it sounds like that’s what happened here. Possibly she was swinging the gun around into position with her idiot finger on the trigger.

These are the same donkeyholes that clean their guns at 4:00 AM. Basically they get drunk and decide to play with their guns.
This is all a Darwinian outcome, woman should not be charged…

Investigation is ongoing, charges may still happen, but they need to sort out exactly what they will be. Hell, she might have wanted to kill him, shot him in the leg and hoped he’d bleed to death, then call 911. That would be murder. But a more likely scenario is negligent homicide if she just messed up.
Are we now going to see a spate of accidental shootings by girlfriends?
This is similar to the incident where the instructor was killed by a big ass gun he was teaching a way too young girl to use on a shooting range. They said something later about a bucket list and big guns.

Yes, this it. The parents skedaddled, and no one took responsibility for the death of instructor not even his employer.

Well 12:20 am after a few hours tying one on at the corner bar. It was the perfect time to show the girl friend how to run a fork lift truck down at the warehouse, the chain saw in the garage, 'dozer down at the dump, maybe even the proper proportions of potassium nitrate, sulphur and charcoal to make gunpowder, … Or teach her how to shoot a rifle. The last seemed the least dangerous at the time, but that’s just common sense.
