Discussion: Police: FBI Taking Over Investigation Into Shooting At GOP Baseball Practice

Trump will have to ask Chris Wray out for dinner and press him to just make this go away.

So the President’s birthday starts with a horrific shooting.

Man has his term ever been smooth sailing…

Crises visit our now rudderless institutions.

Donald Trump. 71 in human years. 4 on the Jackson-Skilling Imbecile Scale.

Here we go. The shooter is one James T. Hodgkinson, a Bernie fan. His FB page features public posts berating the Trump administration.

Thank Goodness. Not a Democrat then.

I wonder…Republicans never come around on anything unless they’re directly affected. I wonder how these guys feel about our gun laws at the moment.

They will pass laws forbidding non-Republicans to own guns.

They feel like they’re unlocking their gun cabinets and loading their weapons to take revenge on some of the un’Murikkkan liberals who are the source of all this violence, always resort to this violence, are the only ones who commit this kind of violence and are the sole reason for all the division and partisanship in 'Murikkka, that’s how they feel. Just go to Faux News and look at the KKKomment boards.

I fully, 100% expect retaliation within the next week or so.

I think we should change the terminology from “gun control” laws to “citizen protection” laws.

And, yes I am talking about it just a few hours into this tragedy.

Didn’t matter in Texas after last Summer’s shooting of police in Dallas.

At this point, I don’t consider this a tragedy. Certainly not wrt Scalise, whose injuries are something he might be expected to sustain in a car accident. Looks like the protectors, whom I was far more concerned about, are also going to be ok.

Tragedy is when a gunman massacres a school full of children. Tragedy is what’s happening in Syria. Congressman getting a hip injury not so much.

Or they could just handle it like most municipal police departments and shoot you in the back.

Yeah, from our prospective. But from that of a GOP rep, the shit just got real (so to speak).
