Another day in America. Can you smell that Second Amendment freedom.

Is that anything like the smell of Napalm in the morning?

Seems a guy walked into a motorcycle shop and started firing. It’s a standoff, possibly with hostages. Wasn’t there a bit of a dust-up involving motorcycle enthusiasts a while back? And Islam really didn’t play much of a role in the situation? It was more American knuckleheads, many or most armed and drunk? Did I remember that correctly, or does that kind of thing even happen?

Nah, never happens. Only Syrian refugee children are dangerous.

NEENAH (WBAY)— UPDATE: Neenah Police Chief Kevin Wilkinson says the scene at the standoff and shooting at Eagle Nation Cycle is safe and there is no threat to the community at this time.

“I can tell you and I can tell the citizens now that the scene has been made safe,” said Neenah Police Chief Kevin Wilkinson during a briefing about 1:30 p.m. “We’re just going through the final clearing operations, but we believe we have everyone accounted for.”

The chief told reporters a citizen and a police officer were taken to the hospital during the standoff.

The chief said the officer is expected to be OK."

At some point, American businesses are going to realize our present gun laws are not conducive to the bottom line. Hopefully then, establishment Republicans will join Democrats in passing sensible gun laws.

An acquaintance a few days ago described the Twin Peaks restaurant chain as “Hooters with better looking women.”

Add in a few Baptists and Pentecostals doing “research.” “We have to know what sin looks light to fight it.”

And a lot more flat-out skanky. If you look at, say, Hooters, apart from tight shirts the girls are actually fairly covered. They wear short shorts, but they also wear tights, for example.

You’ll see more skin while out shopping.

I’ve never been to either place. When I go out to eat it’s for the food, not the scenery.

Just got back from doing a training in Austin. Hotel was in the outer burbs and one night we went to Texas Roadhouse. I now know who hires the ones too skanky to be hired at Hooters or Twin Peaks. Several times during dinner, the lights went up and all the waitresses did a line dance. As we were leaving, I asked the manager why the waiters didn’t get out and shake their cute butts as well. Got a blank look and dropped jaw in response.

Well, I figured. When you hear about 100 bikers shooting at each other at a restaurant called “Twin Peaks” that’s pretty much the impression that’s conjured up.

You been reading that libbbbberal freedom hating media again haven’t you?

We’ve created a society where a policeman has to assume every citizen is armed and ready to open fire on law enforcement. What good can possibly come from that? This insanity has to end.
