A Trump and white powder. Gee, that’s news.

Look! Shiny object! Nice try at deflection, Jr. and Mrs. Jr. What else ya got?

Maybe it was powder laundry detergent. I’m sure they wouldn’t recognize what it was.

She sent it to herself, figuring no one would test it, I guess.

“Police say she said she was coughing and felt nauseous.”

Isn’t nausea a well-known side effect of exposure to Donald Trump Jr.?

Fake news.

Ok - I can already tell there are going to be exactly zero people on this site who are concerned about this poor woman’s traumatic experience. ETA: This is snark, in case you don’t know me.

But Jr. may have put the idea into some malleable minions’ heads to start some stupid and possibly harmful mail shenanigans. ETA: This is most definitely not snark.

False flag. They’re just ramping up to this level of propaganda because they need to create the perception among their base that the “evil liberal socialists started the violence” so that their base will feel justified in taking to the streets to commit violence themselves.

I wonder how many of these envelopes have been sent by the Teafuck crazies to Hillary Clinton over the past 25 goddamned years?
And thank goodness no one sent Donnie a Tide Detergent Pod! There would be fucking martial law by now!!!

I don’t think so. If she “fell ill” from just opening the envelope she’d be dead. Contact and inhalant toxins don’t make you “fall ill” they make you dead. If its a bio agent there’s an incubation time.

Seems near too good to be true. Makes them victims.

I plan to be unconcerned twice, so we’re already in negative numbers.

This became a harassment tool for the wingnut right after the Anthrax attacks in the early aughts.

I’ve had several similar hoax letters sent to my work over the years, and it’s bullshit regardless of who.

Probably near none since in almost all cases they are sent by the targets people in order to cast that person a victim. That’s GOP stuff.

I have a hard time being concerned about this “poor woman” because I have a hard time believing that the Secret Service doesn’t check every piece of mail sent to every member of the Trump family. The Secret Service went after Kathy Griffin for a photo. You don’t think they are checking every piece of correspondence to a family as hated as the Trumps?

She probably stupidly opened the “suspicious” envelope (and BTW, who in the fuck opens a “suspicious” envelope?) because she thought that $1.50 check from Paul Ryan was in there.

If I had to sleep with Fredo, I’d be nauseous too.

Zero plus one. You can express your dislike of people without being a literal criminal about it and total dumbass. This just creates sympathy for the poor widdle martyrs sacrificing so hard for America. And it’s stupid and mean. I hope they catch the idiot and lock him or her up for a few months. You just don’t do stuff like that.

I hope they tip the dry cleaners extra to get all that Vitalis out of the pillow shams.
