I still donāt understand why - if he was seen punching someone - he was not questioned amd/or detained while in the stadium. Why were the protesters made to leave but not the people that assaulted them. Arenāt Secret Service or the private security allowed to hold people there?

The Secret Service is there to protect the candidate, not to police the venue. If thereās not a threat to Trump, they donāt get involved. Private security, of course, is being paid by the Trump campaign (if theyāre lucky - theyāll probably end up getting ten cents on the dollar). They know which side their bread is buttered on.

Happened only because they were forced into it. Unlike his fearless liederkranz, when something is recorded on tape, it cannot be denied or refuted. The guy was caught clocking or trying to clock protesters. The protesters got escorted out, rather than the guy committing the assault.
