Is this an āOnionā piece?
Mc Clinton - a black man torched a black church and wrote āVote Trumpā on it?
Wondering if he was playing the Uncle Tom role, or if he was trying to make it look like racist white folks had done it?
One of those Blacks for Trump?
Itās happened before. Can be a convenient way of getting a new church built.
False flag chicanery. It happens. Didnāt we all pretty much assume the same when the GOP headquarters in Orange County, NC was firebombed before the election?
You assume this is a legit arrest. That we donāt know - what we do know is this is all going on in Mississippi, that historically arson is among if not in fact the single most difficult crime to establish leave aside pin on anyone, and the freaking combined STATE INSURANCE CHIEF and FIRE CHIEF (of necessity, a massive ball of conflicting interests) is calling the shots here.
Color me extremely skeptical about ALL of this.
So far you appear to be the only one who picked up on it, though I personally would not use the term ā'false flagā, that is usually used when people accuse the āgubbermintā of it, and itās usually bogus. Plus itās Alex Jonesās favorite term.
This guy was a lone clown most likely, trying to make Trump look bad. Newsflash - doing fake stuff to make Trump look bad is not necessary.
We saw a somewhat similar thing a couple of years ago, numerous fires at black churches that must be hate crimes. Turns out it was not more than usual fires in churches, nor was it actually specific to black churches, and they were caused by electrical, lightning, etc.
Thatās not to say hate crimes donāt exist, but the knee jerk reactions before investigations are not coolā¦but they do make for good news ratingsā¦
The FBI was investigating as well. Are they āin on itā too? Plus the Commissioner is saying he does not think it was politically motivated. Why would he say that if this was a āstaged arrestā? And what, the man arrested can speak?
Why is it so hard to believe? Are black people somehow immune to doing stupid stuff?
Yes, though that implies the churchās leaders were in on this, and am thinking that is not the caseā¦at least I hope not. But that is one potential angle of the perp, the other is to make Trump look bad, as if Trump needs help with thatā¦
Hate crimes are real enough but sometimes when the identity politics implied get too crude and demonstrative I have alarm bells going off in the back of my head.
I actually wonder whether some sort of mental illness played a role. Who vandalizes their own church building?
In those cases it is usually a disgruntled employee or parish member, someone with a grudge. In rare instances perhaps a person looking to get insurance money for the church on their own. Iād say arson as staging a hate crime would also be a rare instance. And obviously none of those are restricted to any specific denomination, etc.
But the reality is that most church fires are electrical because they are old buildings with old wiring. Also lightning strikes (old churches have a lot of wood, and if they have lightning protection it is not well maintained, which can make it very easy for a fire to start), and many times just homeless people set fires to keep warm, or fall asleep with lit butts.
What I hate about this is that if he vandalized the church to make it look like a hate crime, the flying monkeys on the Right will make EVERY act of vandalism actually done by the Left to victimize THEMā¦
