Well said. I have very little fear of Muslim terrorists…I truly fear going to the Star Wars movie in 3 weeks, because of a demented, disgruntled white person with a gun. That’s not hyperbole either. I will make sure I sit near the fire exits.

Yes, I am white, and have white, conservative friends. When I tell them what I wrote above, that I fear disgruntled white people with a gun more than Muslim extremists, their initial reaction is that I’m kidding. When they realize I’m not, they get confused, and I have to explain it to them. They are conditioned, like Pavlov’s dog, to dismiss white shooters as anomalies. They can’t wrap their brains around calling white Christians, or white people in general, terrorists. Sadly, neither can our judicial system.
