Negligent homocide.
OK - a picture of a gun ⌠we know what a gun looks like âŚ
Just for context - in case anybody needs a memory refresher - hereâs a generic pic of some 5 year old girls -
HOW CAN PEOPLE BE SO CARELESS WITH THEIR FIREARMS??
No words âŚ
But if a violent criminal had broken into his house while he was showering, not keeping the gun safely locked up would have saved him precious seconds in self-defense. Not.
Also, can we get rid of this âby accidentâ thing? âI left a pot of boiling water balanced on top of the door, and when someone walked in it accidentally fell down.â
manslaughter and child endangerment⌠the âtheyâve suffered enough with the death of the childâ nonsense has gone far enoughâŚ
too farâŚ
Depends. Is the gun owner black or Caucasian? With incidents like these, prosecution is usually determined by race. Blacks are often prosecuted, while whites are told that the death of their child means theyâve âsuffered enough.â
The girl on the left looks threatening. Is that why the guy on the far left is reaching for his gun?
Very suspicious! Dad just happened to leave the loaded, ready to fire gun right in front of his daughter while he disappeared for a while?
If the daughter wouldâve shot the Dad in the butt accidentally for being an idiot, then at least there wouldâve been a useful lesson learned.
If that little girl had been armed, she could have defended herself and sheâd be alive today.
Moar gunz 4 kidz!!
What kind of a phucking idiot leaves a LOADED GUN laying around, when thereâs small children in the house?
As a parent, I find this horrifying. It would be my worst nightmare come true.
But thatâs why I donât keep guns in the house, because no matter how careful you are - human nature means youâre going to make a mistake at some point. And kids are going to be kids.
Itâs just a shame so many have bought into the NRAâs false and nonsensical arguments. It really is sad that they have to learn the lesson in such a tragic manner.
Another name for the Monument to Tiny Martyrs of the Second Amendment planned by the NRA for the DC Mall.
I canât even make a snarky joke about a Democratic politician taking the fatherâs gun away because the five-year old inside of me is crying.
In all these accidents I hope they do a good investigation for powder residue, etc. Some people just donât like being parentsâŚ
NRA and gun and ammunition manufacturing corporations can all GO TO HELL!
Their persistent stance against sensible gun laws to reduce unfortunate accidents like this, is just simply dumb and negligible!
Darwin law in effect. What a shame that it has to be this way but the human race is terminally dumb. Only after enough senseless deaths happen will we learn.
Negligent homicide.
Thanks for that. It canât be said enough. People are imperfect at best, and guns are very, very, very dangerous.
Today my local paper reported the arrest of five teenagers, aged 16-18, who were posing for photos with handguns and one assault rifle, in one of the busiest public parks in the city. The story featured pictures of all the guns and a lot of ammunition that was also taken from these kids, but no hint that anyone should wonder where the hell these kids got these guns. By the way, this city is currently experiencing an ongoing plague of shootings. Lots of discussion about violence, crime and police response. Nobody wants to talk about where the assholes are getting the guns theyâre using to shoot each other and the occasional bystander.
